The Fracking Flu
Fracking fractures flux and flow
fucks us all from head to toe
sucks much water, poisons more
while buying cheap political whores
with tinsel trinkets bought with beads
made from pain of others’ needs
as burning water falls from taps
and toxins turn our neurocells
to who knows what
depending what’s been leaked in wells
or seeps through factored fractiled slate
to aquifer above which waits
defutured fate
when WHAP

Wife took me to an anti-fracking activist meeting last night.
The damage fracking does to the earth, the water, the air, the plants, the humans, the animals is beyond mind-boggling — it is devastating . . . literally.
Fracking is the gas & oil industry drilling holes in the earth then pumping in hundreds of secret chemical neurotoxins and cancerous carcinogens under such high pressures the rock below explodes and gas escapes and sometimes water wells above are poisoned and our air is contaminated with more powerful greenhouse gasses and the waste water is radioactive . . . and oh yes it also causes earthquakes. What’s not to like, right?
