Trapped in a bad B-movie
no director, no screen writer
no dressing room, paycheck or release date
bad actors frothing self referential dialogue
each a gigantic star in their small whorl
the rest of us understudies, go-fers
stepping stones, fluffers
support, flotsam, filler
and worse, no heros
plot, or story arc
but worser
no end outside death

TONIGHT ALERT: Lady K and I are the featured readers tonight at Night Fragments – Poetry in the Dark.
This Saturday August 20, 2011 reading out under the stars starts at 8:30 PM with a half hour or so of open mic followed by 15 minutes each from Lady and me.
John Burroughs will have a brand new 23 page 25 poem chapbook of my poetry available titled Unruly.
It is at The Lorain Arts Council’s Sweet & Savory Bistro, 737 Broadway Ave in Lorain, Ohio.
Lorain is 38 miles west of Cleveland, just north of I-90 near the Black River.
