Rest Room Rue

The round black hole of nothing
in the square white bathroom sink of something
swallows toothpaste
clipped beard
shaved head
eyebrow pluck
anti-bacterial soap
withdraws dirt and squirt and spurt.
It does its job.

I look into the mirror
wonder
am I doing mine?
