Will be reading this today in Erie Pennsylvania at Snoetry #5. Lady & I each have a 10 minute slot in the 1pm thru 11pm lineup. We’ll be reading between 4:30 and 5:30. Poets are a strange breed, they’ll drive and hour and a half to read for 10 minutes for free.
Sail or See?
They say I sail the acerbic see,
spew random judgment all over the place,
that if you cross me I’m too in your face.
That’s part of be of me I do agree
unfortunately, but I aim to change
and hopefully correct and rearrange,
try to flow through life less seriously.
So,
there was a poet from Vancouver
who billed herself as “The Svelte Ms. Spelt”
she could really easily maneuver
the nether regions below her belt,
and I am still attempting to recover
from what I too hastily tried to felt.
