Winter Begone!

Doing pothole waltz and shim sham shuffle
wiggle wobble woozy down this slippery path.

Raw for thaw of humans heading for humane
breaking fast at last for a slower lane.

Grit of grid is grounding for the final grace
granting safer footing to a wiser pace.

Placing pie in pie-hole radius unwound
brings the foot of pleasure soothing to the wound.

Asked to take a taxi charted for the moon
said we need to hurry to catch the light of loon.

There’s magic in ample and samples of sand
and life’s merry laughter over man’s plan.

Birds and bees and breeze of knees
bring bowers for hours of muffled release.

Winter begone! Spring come!
Summer stay! Fall stay! Winter Begone!

New song Bobplicity recorded 3 days ago has nothing to do with Miles Davis’ 1949 recording on the 1957 album The Birth of the Cool . . . he’s cool jazz, we’re loping blues.
